Trenton claimed the school's first softball state championship by defeating Sneads 7-3 in the 2019 Class 1A title game at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex in Vero Beach.

After back to back runner-up finishes, Geneva (Winter Park) was finally able to break through and claim its first state title. They out-dueled Harvest Community (Jacksonville) in the 2018 2A Girls Volleyball State Championship game that was held in Fort Myers.
